It’s always a pleasure when we get a call from MTV to work on a promo project. And it’s even better when the creative calls for a unconventional way of execution. And so it was with this contest spot sponsored by Kinder Bueno. Since the whole contest was based around the concept of uploading a photo of yourself enjoying a Kinder Bueno, what better way to capture the spirit of things than an approach that involved snapping lots of stills and piecing them together into a delightful piece of stop motion meets motion graphics madness. Throw in an afro wig and two decidedly dodgy looking talents and you have the makings of an instant classic.
