A sexy femme fatale. A family man. And a sleeping child. Ingredients for a melodramatic drama series? Not quite. Instead, after the success of the ‘Do Not Litter’ PSA, we have teamed up with ADK once again on yet another PSA for the National Environment Agency.

This time the topic is Dengue Fever. Projected through the eyes of a female mosquito (male mosquitoes do not feed on blood meals), we chronicle her flight into the home of an unsuspecting family, briefly glossing over a prospective male adult victim before diverting her evil gaze onto the sleeping child in the bedroom.

Shot entirely on a stedicam on RED, the shoot presented challenges. Such as manouvering through a 5-room flat on a stedicam rig for that one money shot in a single take. Or having our female child talent sleep through the entire shoot so that we can get her best angle. But it was all in a days work, delivering an important message about a disease that has caused much disruption to Singaporean’s daily lives.
