This was our copy and animation message for Shionogi’s overseas Japanese clientele. The mission was to understand the Japanese cultural mindset of suffering in silence and encourage them to communicate with their doctor openly to help early detection.
For entry into Shionogi’s video contest, the design team at Reel Loco decided to animate in 2D drawing from scratch, adding elements and colours that overseas Japanese seniors would identify with.The challenge we enjoyed was to design across language and culture.
