We have just completed the post on another PSA for the National Environment Agency. Once again we collaborated with ADK on this project which was shot mostly on a steadicam. Manouvering through a 5 room flat in Singapore on a steadicam rig is no joke and kudos to Joel Sanjuan our steadicam operator for his stellar work on this shoot. Do check back soon on our Work page as we will be posting the full spot online.
So we have ushered out the Year of the Tiger and welcomed the Year of the Rabbit. And it’s been a rocking start to the year. 3 shoots in a week and all good fun too. Let’s hope the rest of the year continues in the same vein.
We’ll be updating more on these shoots in the coming few weeks so do look out for them – a music video, a property marketing video and a public service announcement.
As this is our 10th year of existence, we thought it might be fun to do a quick retreospective of the past decade. A look back at some of the things we have done in that time.
From time to time, we’ll be dropping in some of our old favourites workwise, as well as some photos and memories from the past. So do check back to view some of these gems.
We start off with a look at 2010, the year our motion graphics team decided to experiment with stop motion while creating the new Reel Loco Ident. It was a painsaking process that involved working weekends and long days on top of their regular projects. It was also a challenge, as the art direction and indeed the craftsmanship of the art had to be absolutely spot on.
In the end, they pulled it off with help from different members of the team. Matt, the editor lit the scenes, edited the idents and mixed the audio while Nima drove everyone forward with her enthusiasm and energy.
So go check out the Reel Loco 2010 Ident or have a look at the sweat and toil behind the scenes on our Facebook page. Kudos to our Motion Graphics team for a job very well done.
We recently had a shoot that involved a cab snatcher, a vicious and pissed off girlfriend, a big black bear and a chicken. Crazy? A lot of passer-bys thought so too! These characters were part of a series of online viral videos we filmed for the agency, Publicis.
We had planned to film at three outdoor locations and it had been raining in the afternoons for the whole week! Needless to say, we were crapping in our pants the day before the shoot. But to our surprise and much relief, it turned out to be a sunny day!
Not so lucky for our talent in the chicken suit, buried under a furry custom-made suit with extra padding that we added to make the chicken more muscular. Roast chicken anyone?
